Altair Technologies' 24,000 square foot brazing facility offering industry-leading brazing capabilities supported by an excellent management team and dedicated work force, along with the industry's top engineering and metallurgical experts. We commonly perform brazing for customers who have their own brazing capability, taking on their more difficult, low-yield brazed assemblies.
ISO Certified
Altair Technologies, Inc. is an ISO 9000 certified full service vacuum and hydrogen brazing shop and is one of the few shops nationwide who also provide many other in-house capabilities such as machining, cleaning, assembly, leak detection, welding (TIG, Laser & Spot) and extensive engineering services. We supply both turnkey brazed assemblies and brazed assemblies using material supplied by our customers. Altair Technologies also supplies its own brazed products such as RF Windows, Electron Guns and Ion Pumps.
Brazing of High Vacuum Compatible Materials & Processes
We braze and clean fire virtually all low vapor pressure metals and ceramics such as OFE Copper 101, Stainless Steel (SST), Kovar, Monel, Tungsten, Cupro-Nickel, Titanium, Aluminum, Alumina, Silicon Carbide and many more.
We perform vacuum brazing, wet hydrogen brazing, and dry hydrogen brazing, vacuum aluminum brazing and active metal brazing. We primarily supply services and products into high vacuum or "clean" application and DO NOT use any flux in our brazing processes.

Altair Technologies supplies services and products into several markets with Semiconductor, Defense and Medical making up the majority of revenue. In addition to various brazed assemblies, we are exceptionally accomplished building Traveling Wave Tubes, X-Ray Tubes and Linear Accelerators, providing brazed subassemblies, full turnkey brazed assemblies and remanufactured/refurbished linear accelerators.
