Leak Detection
Altair has several complimentary manufacturing processes to support our contract brazing and vacuum product lines, which include Helium Mass Spec Leak Detection.
We have three leak detectors in-house, two of which are ceramic bearing models (no oil back-streaming is possible) that are used on assemblies intended to be “ready for use” right out-of-the-box.
Our Pfeiffer model is capable of detecting leaks as small as X10-10 scale whereas our other units have the standard X10-9 scale capabilities.
In addition to leak detection, we also perform static pressure testing, pressure drop, and a “continuity check” that identifies blocked or partially blocked passages.
